Arriving & Leaving.

Loch Hart 6 will be held on 10-12 January 2025, and you can Loch it in now by joining the Loched-In Club.

6788 Great Ocean Road, Gellibrand Lower is the ‘approximate’ address (welcome to a real farm!). Please search for this address in your maps and it will get you close enough to the festival gate that signs will lead you the rest of the way. Please do NOT arrive at Kangaroobie Camp – the festival access is from the Great Ocean Road only.

Gates open at 4.00pm on Friday 12 January and close at 2.00pm on Sunday 14 January.

The festival gates will be closed at 11.00pm each night and re-open at 8.00am each morning, however, security will be present for attendees arriving after 11.00pm.

You will need to show your festival tickets (on your phone or print out) and your ID, which must match your ticket. Our security guards will also search your car and confiscate any glass or prohibited items (eg. Gas stoves, fireworks, fire twirlers etc.)

No, there is no public transport system or organised festival buses that arrive at the festival. We highly recommend car-pooling.

Yes, please enter the festival via the main entrance on the Great Ocean Road.

We strongly discourage leaving the festival, however, we do allow pass outs until 8.00pm both nights. Our security guards will not allow you to leave the festival if they suspect that you have been drinking or that it is unsafe for you to drive.
Accommodation.

We are an overnight camping festival. You can sleep in:
- your own tent/swag
- your own car/caravan/van (which must be parked in the carpark)
- Glamping Tents which are available for hire soon!

No, the camping area and carpark are separate, but are very close to each other meaning you can easily access your car throughout the festival. If you have a van/caravan you are welcome to sleep in it, however, it must be parked in the car park and not the camping area.

Yes, guests can select where they camp and you are welcome to save some room for your friends.

You can drop your bags in the camping area before proceeding to the carpark. The camping area and car park are very close together and you can access your car throughout the festival.

Yes, you are welcome to come and go from the festival site, noting that the gates will be closed at 11.00pm each night and no pass outs will be given after 8.00pm.
Food & Drink.

Yes, the festival has several food trucks, serving a range of food and drinks including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free food.

Yes, the festival bar has beers, ciders, cocktails, soft drinks and chilled water available for purchase.

Yes, you can buy ice from the bar, however, we recommend coming well stocked.

Yes, you can bring your own food into the festival. However, please note that no cooking equipment is allowed (eg. BBQs, stoves, burners, campfires), and no glass packaging is allowed (please empty your salsa into a container before arriving!)

Yes, the festival is BYO alcohol. However, strictly no glass is allowed onsite. You’re welcome to move between the camping area and stage with your own alcohol, however, no alcohol can be taken into or out of our onsite bar.
Logistics.

Sleeping: Tent (extra tent pegs), sleeping mat, sleeping bag, pillow
Camping: Marquee, camp chairs, picnic rug, esky and ice (we have ice for purchase)
Food and drink: BYO alcohol and food (no glass!)
Practical: Tickets, ID, cash, rain coat, warm clothes, beanie, gloves, hat, sunnies, toiletries, general all round good vibes

We will have EFT facilities onsite, however, we always recommend bringing some cash just in case reception drops out. $200-300 per person, would comfortably cover meals, alcohol from the bar and any extras such as merchandise.

Yes there is! However, we always recommend bringing a bit of cash in case anything goes wrong with reception.

Power options at the festival are very limited. You’re welcome to charge your phone at the information tent, however, we recommend bringing your own portable charger.

Firstly, you should probably wear a costume because that would be sweet. Secondly, please note that the festival is on a working farm close to the coast, so you should come prepared for all weather conditions. We recommend bringing sturdy closed-toe shoes (boots, hiking shoes, runners) warm clothes (raincoat, puffer jacket, thermals, beanie, gloves, thick socks) and clothes for hot weather (hat, sunnies, sunscreen, party shirt).

The festival has a range of activities on offer including live music, comedy hour, guest speakers, morning yoga, paddock sports, giant games, cinema and board games.

Yes, the festival has a merchandise stall with festival and artist merchandise. There are also a range of vendors selling local products.

No, pets are not allowed at the festival. Service dogs are welcome.
Health & Safety.

If you feel unsafe at any point throughout the festival, please approach one of our many security guards who will be on site 24/7 and will assist with any problem. Alternatively, please visit the medical or information tent and speak to one of our staff.

Yes, we have a qualified team of paramedics, nurses and first aiders on site located in our medical tent in the middle the amphitheatre. Please feel free to approach them about any issue, whether you think it may be big or small.

Yes, there is phone reception at the festival site, particularly at the top of the hill in the camping/car park area, however, reception is quite limited near the stage.

Yes, the festival has portable toilets in both the amphitheatre and camping areas. All toilets are gender neutral.

Yes, the festival has free drinking water available both in the amphitheatre and camping areas. Please bring a re-useable drink bottle (no glass).

No, the festival does not have showers.

Covid-Safety.

We will continue to implement the most up to date and best practice measures to reduce Covid risks at our festival.

Yes, hand sanitiser will be available throughout the festival including at the gate, in the toilets, at the food trucks, in the bar and in the chill out areas.

Please email admin@lochhart.com detailing what your market stall does or sells, and what onsite arrangements you would bring or require. We recommend highlighting any aspects of your market stall that would be of significance to the festival (eg. Local connection, a focus on sustainability etc.)
